The Details

PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type-5) inhibitors like Vardenafil work by preventing the body from breaking down the chemicals needed for achieving an erection. This class of oral medications is the American Urological Association’s recommended first-line treatment for ED. Vardenafil should be taken 30 to 60 minutes prior to sexual activity and requires sexual stimulation to achieve an erection.
